To install the flywheel, it is necessary to use the flywheel from the automatic version Toyota OE 32101-30090 | 32101-22050 and the spacer between the engine block and the ring gear OE 32116-22020 4.5mm (not included). The clutch fork is mounted on the lower position of the release bearing (in the case of a two-position bearing).

To install the adapter, use a Toyota JZ starter without the additional pinion shroud. Depending on the version of the Toyota JZ 1JZ 2JZ - BMW adapter you have, there are three ways to mount the starter:
a) Adapters produced until 2022 - the starter is mounted identically to the original equipment (OE).
b) Adapters produced from 2022 to 2025 - one of the starter mounting holes in the engine block must be enlarged. The hole should be drilled with a drill bit to a diameter of ∅12.9-13.2 mm (0.507"-0.520") to a depth of 22 mm (0.866"). Then use the bushing from the AN 335-M10 kit and secure it with an ISO4762-M10x35 bolt.
